From Science to Pseudoscience Phrenology Poster

In June, I presented my poster "From Science to Pseudoscience: The Evolution of Phrenology, the First Science of the Mind" at the week-long 20th annual conference of the International Society for the History of the Neurosciences in Washington, DC. The poster was based on a research paper submitted to Dr. Michele Louro in May for her Research and Writing seminar at Salem State University in Salem, Massachusetts. The images I used were taken from John van Wyhe's website The History of Phrenology on the Web. I hope to publish my research on phrenology in the coming months.

The conference was immensely rewarding. I'm especially grateful to Dr. Louro for her guidance with my research and the Frederick E. Berry Library for facilitating my constant stream of interlibrary loan requests. I'm also grateful to ISHN and the wonderful people whom I met at the conference.
